Supporting Children

In Crisis

The Humanitarian Fund for Displaced Children in Gaza is a Mutual Aid initiative providing the most basic necessities (formula, food, water, clothing, blankets, tents, and medical supplies) to displaced children throughout the Gaza Strip.
We serve to bridge the gap between children suffering in real time and concerned citizens around the world by providing a legal, transparent, and non-political framework through which 100% of donations are used to purchase essential goods and deliver them directly to the most affected families.
Our model provides complete transparency to donors around (1) who their money is going to and (2) what it is paying for, with all purchases openly published with documentation and our financial ledgers available to view.
We invite you to meet the children we serve, to learn about the realities they face, and to stand with them.
Support Pathways

1
Undesignated Donation
Any sum that is given without a designation of purpose will be split among the families who have the most critical aspects of need at the time the donation is made.
2
Designated Donation
A donation of any amount may be designated on two levels:
1) The donor may select the family that receives the donation
2) The donor may select what the donation is used for (i.e. baby formula, winter clothes). Just include these notes at check-out on the Chuffed page.
3
Sister-Family Partnership
Consistent donors are invited to enter into an established support relationship with an available family, taking them on as a "Sister Family" to ensure that their most urgent basic needs are met regularly.
* Fund families may or may not have fundraisers or accept donations apart from the Fund. However, we check all donations accepted by Fund families prior to allocating donated goods in order to ensure that the children most in need (those who have gone without food, formula, water, warmth, the longest) are the first to be served. All families featured here are struggling to feed and clothe their children despite their best efforts.
