The youngest girl, Hind, is acutely malnourished with her sister Hanadi also at risk. There is not enough food for the children. The family is forced to borrow money to get the little food they have for the girls. They live in a rented room with no heat, insufficient clothing and blankets. This family has endured the loss of their youngest member, Shaher, in December of 2025 from malnutrition due to lack of food.
